REPORT: Will the Marj center become a refugee camp?

Displaced Syrians in Lebanon now have a shelter; a small center that will receive 40 families in tents equipped with heating means in addition to shared bathrooms and a central kitchen.

The center was opened in the Marj region of Bekaa with cooperation of the Saudi Relief Committee, the High Relief Commission and the Municipality of Marj.

In this context, supervisors of the center said that the latter is not a refugee camp; it is a temporary residence for the displaced.

Since the Syrian crisis is ongoing and the number of displaced is on the rise, this center will become the only glimmer of hope to end the suffering of these people.
