REPORT: Non-smoking associations decide to raise the voice

In order not to the repeat the chaos that occurred on New Year’s Eve, seemingly since various violations took place indoors, non-smoking associations decided to raise their voice.

The associations stressed that New Year is similar to other days in the year whereby all laws are applied without setting priorities and pointed out that the civilized side of Lebanon is not only shown by receiving tourists but also by applying the non-smoking law.

The associations mentioned that it is unreasoned to say that the non-smoking law lead to a decline in the touristic sector seemingly since the latter is related to the economic situation
