REPORT: Repercussion of Israeli elections on Palestinian state

Prior to Israel's January 22nd parliamentary elections which will be present on the Palestinian land in its details and repercussions, candidates are presenting more extreme and racist electoral programs against Palestinians; a matter that Palestinian officials consider that it reflects the Israeli approach.

In this context, Mohammed Shtayeh, a member of Fatah's central committee said that the stage represents the continuous blockage of the political horizon and added that the Movement's main motive is the benefit of the Palestinian state. While surveys show that the far-right political parties will be victorious, supervisors say that this will "bury the two-state solution".

In this context, the Palestinian scholar Hunaida Ghanem said that the "2 state solution" will be officially 'buried' and pointed out at a possible coalition with the Jewish Home.
