Introduction to the evening news 25-01-2013

The incidents occurring in Lebanon can only be described as “scandalous”.

It is known that when a person commits a crime, he is punished and sentenced to jail. But what if his crime is committed inside the prison?

The scandal continues as the murderer hides inside the Roumieh Prison and refuses to turn himself in.

What is even more scandalous is the negotiations held to convince the inmate to surrender himself inside the jail.

The negotiations at the Roumieh Prison reached a “happy ending” but the negotiations between the Lebanese MPs over ratifying a new electoral law don’t seem to be fruitful.
