Introduction to the evening news 04-02-2013

An event follows the other in Lebanon; as if the Lebanese scene turned into a "news mill".

After being the main issue in Lebanon, the parliamentary sub-committee and the electoral laws are now at the back rows pushing the issue of Arsal to the forefront, but not for too long.

On Monday, the State Prosecutor Hatem Madi demanded lifting MP Boutros Harb's political immunity.

In light of all these files, the country is passing through a chaotic stage without finding a roadmap to address the file of the pay scale, the issue of civil marriage, and the continuous violation to the non-smoking law.

Despite the chaos in the Lebanese files, the Syrian file remains steady especially after the speech of the Syrian opposition leader Moaz Al-khatib who said that he would accept negotiations with Bashar al-Assad's deputy but said that talks must be based on the principle of the regime's departure.

Al-Khatib addressed President Bashar Assad by saying: "stay away from violence; look into the eyes of your children before you sleep so you may get back a part of your humanity".

All these developments and more in our detailed news bulletin.
