Sheikh Rafei to LBCI: Arsal residents are against killing

After listening on Sunday to Arsal's residents' part of the story, the Association of Muslim Scholars is still questioning the circumstances of the Arsal incident.

In this context, Member of the Association Sheikh Salem al-Rafei questioned the identity of the 4 other bodies that were hidden and said that pictures of the bodies will be broadcast.

Sheikh Rafei said that Arsal residents did not hit the soldiers and torture them, but two civil cars with civilian men entered to the town and killed Khaled Hmaid.

In turn, Arsal residents thought that the men were not from the LAF since the LAF denied any link to the incident.

Sheikh Rafei pointed out that he who hid the 4 other bodies was the one who tortured the LAF soldiers since Arsal residents are against killing.

According to the Association of Muslim Scholars, an Investigation Commission may determine who among Arsal residents is involved in the incident.
