REPORT: Israeli armed units perform military exercises to face “Syrian terrorist organizations”

 
Most of the Israeli armed units performed their military exercises in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights under the pretext of possible future clashes at the Syrian borders that require the entry of the troops to the Syrian land to face what they called “terrorist organizations”.            

In this context, Israel considers that confrontations are more likely to take place with “terrorist organizations” than with the Free Syrian Army since the latter is weak and defragmented.  Upon the estimations of the leadership of the North, the spillover of the Syrian war to Lebanon has become a matter of time.                    
As for the exercises, they mainly consists of logistics support and transferring equipment from army camps toward the “battle fields”, in addition to supplying fuel and other necessities that ensure the continuity of the battle for 72 hours.                               

This as, the Israeli army tries to complete the construction of security fences that stretch as far as 96 KM, while working on demining vast areas across the Syrian borders and implanting new mines.                         

Israel's concerns are increasing after a recent declaration made by the Syrian President Bashar Assad.         

President Assad called for transferring his army members from across the Israeli lookouts toward bordering areas with Damascus in order to strengthen the power of the capital and create a buffer zone toward Israel with extremists and terrorists deployed in it.
