Introduction to the evening news 24-02-2012

A “dense speech” equivalent to the enormous complications surrounding most of the syndical, electoral and Islamist files was delivered in the end of this week.

The “dense speech” delivered in Downtown brought up many slogans such as “we will not be treated as a defeated sect”, or “we will hold accountable everyone who is being unfair to us”, or “we mistrust the military justice”.

A “dense speech” was also delivered by the head of the Union Coordinating Committee Hanna Gharib who stated that the situation on Monday will be “knocked head over heels”.

On the electoral file, the “dense speech” lied in the statement of MP Walid Jumblatt who pointed out that Speaker Nabih Berri will not allow the adoption of the Orthodox Gathering proposal.

Contrary to “dense speeches”, there is “a lack of dealing with problems”, especially those occurring on the Syrian- Lebanese Northern borders where operations stretched out to involve the Lebanese territories.

All these developments and more in our detailed news bulletin.
