REPORT: At least one million Syrian refugees registered so far

After a shell hit their house, almost killing everyone, Boushra and her two children Hanine and Sleiman managed to escape, heading from Homs to Akkar, then Tripoli. While she registered her name and the names of her children at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, she was stunned to find out that she holds the number one million in the UN records of the Syrian refugees.

This report will examine the situation of the Syrian refugees living in Tripoli, mainly in Hay al-Tanak, where families live in the worst conditions fleeing the tragedy of a war raging in their country.
