REPORT: New electoral obstacle: supervisory commission for the election

After President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister Najib Mikati have signed the decree calling on the Electoral Committees to hold the parliamentary elections, and after Interior Minister has opened door for nominees to submit candidacy requests, the currently ongoing debate lies in the formation of the supervisory commission for the election.

This report will expose the controversial issue of the formation of the commission, as well as the point of view of former Minister Ziad Baroud regarding his matter.
