REPORT: Project to integrate persons with special needs in Lebanese society

The number of registered persons with special needs in Lebanon reached by January 80,703; 58% of whom are between the age of 18 and 65.

Although these persons are from a productive age group, policies to integrate them in society are not yet available.

This report will examine the state’s delay in regards to integrating these persons in society along with a project carried out by the UNESCO and the Ministry of Social Affairs aiming at improving their living conditions.
