REPORT: Nehme Mahfoud says UCC to resume its sit-ins next Thursday

Head of the private school teachers association Nehme Mahfoud asserted on Thursday that the Union Coordination Committee (UCC) will resume its sit-in outside the Ministry of Finance next Thursday until the referral of the pay scale to parliament.

Mahfoud told LBCI that caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and caretaker Minister of Finance Mohammad Safadi are hindering the referral of the pay scale to parliament.

This report will shed light on the steps that the UCC will adopt in regard to the long awaited pay scale.
