REPORT: Solo demonstrator in Beirut protests ongoing violence in Tripoli

Lebanese citizen Amir Sheikh staged a solo demonstration in downtown Beirut to protest against the ongoing violence in Tripoli, where he held two banners expressing the demands of the residents of Tripoli. “Tripoli says enough”, a banner read, while the other said: “We call for ending the bleeding of our people and for an immediate disarmament.”

This report will examine the motives of Sheikh leading him to stage his movements and his stance regarding the situation in a statement to LBCI.
