REPORT: Israel launches “Turning Point 7” drill

The Israeli field training exercise “Turning Point 7” drill kicked off in an attempt to test the readiness of the national Home Front Command to respond to any unconventional arms attack, such as a chemical weapons assault against Israel’s home front from Lebanon, Syria and Gaza.

This military maneuver come a day after reports stated that an explosion heard near the region of Metula raised a state of panic among the residents, leading the Israeli army to conduct investigations which revealed that the explosion was that of a rocket fired at the area.

This report will highlight Israel’s reaction to the explosion which hit the region of Metula and will give a closer look at the drills specifically designed to prepare government, civilian and military bodies to respond to any unexpected attack.
