REPORT: Results of preliminary investigations in Dahiyeh’s incident revealed

The preliminary investigations regarding the rockets incident which hit Beirut Southern Suburb, stressed that the rocket launchers found near Aytat was prepared to fire three rockets, while only two reached the target.             

This report will expose the details of preliminary results reached by the investigations and the reasons leading to the failure of the third rocket to reach its target.                          

Two rockets hit Beirut’s southern suburb on Sunday [May 26th] wounding several people, including Syrian nationals. One of the rockets landed in a car sales yard next to a busy road junction in the Chiyah neighborhood while the other hit an apartment several hundred meters away.                       

The rocket launchers were later found in the hills located between Bsaba and Aitat in Mount Lebanon.                      

There was no immediate claim of responsibility while the army launched investigations to reveal who was behind the attack.
