REPORT: Importance of the al-Qusayr battle in the Syrian war

The Syrian regime forces along with members from Hezbollah launched their assault on al-Qusayr in an attempt to take control over this strategic town.

Shortly after, the al-Qusayr battle was transformed into a battle of fate and existence.

According to Hezbollah, the fall of the al-Qusayr in the hands of opposition forces leads to the fall of Syria in the hands of the Americans and the Israelis.

In turn, members from the al-Nusra Front are fighting alongside the Free Syrian Army; thus rejecting truce and preferring their death instead of surrendering.

This report will shed light on the importance of the al-Qusayr battle in light of Hezbollah and al-Nusra Front’s participation.
