REPORT: March 14 forces to raise their demands to President Sleiman

Following the meeting which was held on Monday between March 14 officials at Beit el-Wasat, participants left without making any statements since the final draft paper, which will be delivered to President Michel Sleiman, is not yet ready sources said.

However, LBCI was able to obtain a list of the forces' major demands:

• The withdrawal of Hezbollah from the Syrian territories
• The deployment of Lebanese Armed Forces and international troops along the northeastern borders with Syria
• The exertion of efforts between President Sleiman and Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam to form a 'national salvation' cabinet.

Participants also agreed on considering the Baabda declaration as the basis of the new cabinet.
