Attention folks! It appears the moon is now for sale! And you can become the proud owner of lunar estates and lands where you can go to enjoy nice relaxing holidays... Who cares if there's no oxygen!

Obviously the above is someone's idea of a joke or a way to rip simple minded people off. And it's working!
But on a more serious note, humans have been thinking about colonizing the moon and Mars for ages. Today,  Russia has plans for a manned colony by 2030 and a Japanese firm wants to build solar panels around the moon to harvest energy for earth.
