Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri stressed on Tuesday that he
does not mind the formation of a national unity cabinet on the condition that
it is agreed upon in advance by all political factions in order to prevent a political void.
The Speaker pointed out that the current Cabinet still holds its responsibilities
until the formation of a new one.

As-Safir newspaper that no person can deny that throughout
the current situation, the formation of a National Unity Cabinet is Lebanon's
best choice so that it may address the challenges that the Lebanese are facing
and prepare for the coming parliamentary elections.
The Speaker said that if Mikati's government were to resign, and a
national unity government were not agreed upon, parliamentary elections may not
be held because the caretaker government is not qualified for holding such responsibilities.
Berri expressed his astonishment regarding the insistence of March14 to
disrupt political life by refraining from participating in the national
dialogue, refusing to keep the current Cabinet, as well as refusing to
participate in the meetings of the joint parliamentary committees.
Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel said that the FBI team has left
Lebanon on Monday after finishing the task entrusted in coordination with
the Lebanese concerned judicial authorities.
Minister Charbel said to
Al-Joumhouria on Tuesday that the team has
taken the required information in addition to samples from the explosion scene
and refused to mention any other details related to the team's work.
Regarding
Fidar's crime, the Minister said that the criminal was known few hours after he
committed the crime by following the data of communications and the call logs
of both the criminal and the victim.
Al-Akhbar newspaper said on Tuesday that
after the assassination of Major General Wissam al-Hassan, a meeting was held
at the residence of MP Mohammad Kabbara in Tripoli whereby a sharp debate was
witnessed between MP Mouein Merehbi and Sheikh Kanaan Naji.
The incident took place after MP Mrehbi
announced his intention to set up tents before PM Najib Mikati's residence to
enforce pressure on him to resign.
It is worth mentioning that commercial
stakeholders expressed their resentments regarding Deputy Merehbi's intentions
to the city's deputies including MPs Mohammad Kabbara and Samir Jisr.
The Daily mentioned that divisions within the
Future Bloc regarding Merehbi's position have reached a higher level; a dispute
erupted between Deputy Samir Jisr and Former PM Saad Hariri.
As-Safir
newspaper said on Tuesday that there is a Presidential will to postpone
national dialogue from the 12th of November until the 29th so that all parties
would be able to participate.
In this regard, March14 forces received
various messages from European countries, especially France, asking them to get
back to dialogue whereas March8 forces announced their commitment to the
dialogue.
A ministerial source
said to
Al-Liwaa newspaper that the coming stage will witness a clear activation
of governmental work which will be productive.
The source pointed out that none of the ministers knew anything about diplomacy
formations, stressing that this issue is likely to be discussed outside the
governmental agenda in terms of the approach aiming at addressing the outstanding
issues, in particular the adoption of diplomatic formations and administrative appointments.
