As Safir Daily that the electoral draft law proposed by the Future Movement includes what they called a “comprehensive solution” to the electoral crisis, stressing that the proposal would address the concerns of the Christian community in Lebanon based of the Taif agreement and the Lebanese Constitution.
According to the sources the proposal suggests holding the elections according to the majoritarian system, as well as the formation of a Senate.
Former PM Saad Hariri is expected to reveal the content of the electoral proposal during his interview with LBCI’s
Kalam Nas TV show on Thursday.
March 14 sources reported to
Al Akhbar Daily that the Future Movement is severely criticizing Kataeb and Lebanese Forces Christian Parties’ support for the draft law proposed by the Orthodox Gathering.
In this context, Kataeb and LF sources said to the newspaper that the two parties are reproaching Former PM Hariri’s position, urging him to “follow the example of Hezbollah who supports the decisions of its ally, the Free Patriotic Movement.”

As Safir Daily, PM Najib Makit will be visiting Turkey presiding a delegation of Lebanese officials. He is expected to hold talks with the Turkish authorities concerning the release of the Lebanese pilgrims who were kidnapped in Syria’s Aazaz by Syrian rebels.
In this context, Interior Minister Marwan Charbel told the newspaper that the Lebanese delegation’s agenda in Turkey includes the file of the Lebanese abductees.
