• Geagea: Tamam Salam is the right person for the right position                   

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea told al-Akhbar newspaper on Friday that naming MP Tamam Salam for the Prime Ministry shows "wisdom" on the part of March 14 in "choosing the right person for the right position".           
            
According to the Daily, Geagea urged the formation of a "neutral" cabinet to oversee the upcoming elections and to deal with the security and economic issues.                  

As  well, Geagea reiterated his support to holding the upcoming parliamentary elections based on the hybrid draft law.                   

• Caretaker PM Mikati: I will name MP Tamam Salam for the Prime Ministry            

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati revealed to An-Nahar newspaper on Friday that he will name MP Tamam Salam in the consultations  to designate a Prime Minister to form a new cabinet.                       

Mikati expressed his belief that his resignation would break the political deadlock and open a new opportunity for parties to  confront dangers threatening the country.                    

• Speaker Berri  and Minister Bassil to name Tamam Salam                 

Sources revealed to Al-Joumhouria newspaper on Friday that contacts between Ain el-Tineh, Dahieh and Rabieh are underway and their results will see the light following the Change and Reform bloc's meeting set for Friday afternoon.                    

Sources asserted that Caretaker Energy Minister Gebran Bassil and Speaker Nabih Berri agreed on naming MP Tamam Salam for the Prime Ministry.              

• Mufti Qabbani adamant on holding the Shura Coucil's elections              

Sources close to Dar al-Fatwa asserted to Asharq Alawsat newspaper on Friday that Grand Mufti of Lebanon Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani is adamant on carrying out the Shura Council's elections.    
                
Sources said that the logistic preparations are underway to hold the elections "against all odds" on April 14.
