‘Intimacy 2.0’ is a dress that becomes transparent when the wearer is aroused, so if you’re trying to play it cool on a date, here’s a piece of advice: do not wear it!

The dress, designed by Daan Roosegaarde, is made out of an opaque fabric that turns transparent when the wearer is turned on and when your heartbeat fastens, the fabric gets electrified by it and responds by becoming clear.

“The award-winning Dutch designer used leather, copper, smart opaque e-foils, electronics, and LEDs among other technologies to make what he dubs a ‘techno-poetry’ fashion style,” the Daily Mail reported.

“Intimacy 2.0 is a fashion project exploring the relation between intimacy and technology.” Roosegaarde said of his design, adding “technology is used here not merely functional but also as a tool to create intimacy as well as privacy on a direct, personal level which in our contemporary tech society is becoming increasingly important.”
