Angelina Jolie speaks out against Jabalia camp tragedy, slams 'complicit world leaders'

American actress and former UNHCR special envoy Angelina Jolie shared on Wednesday a post on her Instagram account condemning fatalities in Gaza after Israel bombed the Jabalia refugee camp.

"This is the deliberate bombing of a trapped population who have nowhere to flee," Jolie wrote as her caption on the Instagram post and shared photos of the aftermath of the Israeli strike on the refugee camp.

She also said that 40 percent of those killed are innocent children, and they are being "collectively punished and dehumanized."

"While the world watches and with the active support of many governments, millions of Palestinian civilians - children, women, families - are being collectively punished and dehumanized, all while being deprived food, medicine, and humanitarian aid against international law," Jolie expressed.

She concluded that by refusing to a ceasefire, "world leaders are complicit in these crimes."
