US: Violence carried out by opposition serves Assad

The State Department spokesperson Mark Toner said on Wednesday that the violent acts carried out by Syrian opposition only serve the interests of the Assad regime.

"We do not tolerate violence whether carried out by the Syrian regime or the opposition", Toner said.
