Comics lovers will be drawn to Ohio museum

There's a place in Ohio where Snoopy, the Yellow Kid, Garfield, Krazy Kat, Beetle Bailey and many other memorable characters from the world of comics will live together forever.
 
It's the new Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum at Ohio State University. 
 
The university in Columbus says it has the largest collection of cartoon art and artifacts in the world, with 300,000 original strips from everybody who's anybody in the newspaper comics world, plus thousands of comic books and other artifacts.
 
The whole thing started in the 1970's when Ohio State grad Milton Caniff, the influential comic artist who drew "Terry and the Pirates" and "Steve Canyon, gave all of his original comics and papers to his alma mater.
