Ahmadinejad: Tehran is ready to host a meeting to help Syria

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Tehran is ready to host a meeting of Islamic nations to help Syria solve its political crisis.

Ahmadinejad told Kuwaiti reporters during a press conference that the Islamic countries should unite and help Syria to solve its political crisis far from foreign intervention “The people in Syria are Muslims and it is the duty of Islamic nations to help the Syrians out of their current situation and help the Syrian government proceed with their reforms and ensure stability in the country” Ahmadinejad told the reporters.
