Five security personnel killed in Daraa

Five Security personnel were killed and seventeen injured in an ambush by armed groups against a military convoy on al-Tibah-al- Jeeza highway in Daraa Governorate, about a hundred kilometers south of Damascus.

The armed groups prevented ambulances from reaching the scene to assist the injured security personnel, according to Syrian Arabic News Agency.

The specialized security forces dismantled a 3 kg handmade explosive device found in a backyard of a home west 16 November square in Daraa.

The security forces also intercepted an armed group for possession of explosives and bombs.
