Iranian-Russian talks for second nuclear reactor

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared on Friday, in a press conference from New York that his country is in talks with Russian officials to build new nuclear reactors.

“There have been ongoing discussions with the Russians about it”, Ahmadinejad said. “But these have been really ubiquitous conversations”, he added.

Bushehr nuclear reactors built in the south of the nation should not come in use prior to 2012, Iranian officials said.
