Bahraini delegation visits Gaza on Thursday

King of Bahrain's son will be presiding a delegation that will visit Gaza Strip on Thursday on the occasion of launching educational projects financed by Bahrain and managed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

In this context, the Emir of Qatar embraced the Hamas leadership of Gaza last Tuesday with an official visit that broke the isolation of the Palestinian Islamist movement.

The Gaza Strip is all but cut off from the world under a land and sea blockade by Israel and Egypt that is intended to obstruct the import of arms to Hamas.
