Italian Premier visits Afghanistan

Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti met Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Sunday, during a visit to Kabul.

Karzai said Italy had "served Afghanistan sincerely and from the heart and soul."

He also thanked the country for its "help" and "friendship" over the past decade.
