Merkel assures Berlin's keenness on Israel's security

Five days before the visit of the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu to Berlin, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed on Saturday her country's keenness on Israel's security.
During her weekly speech, Merkel stressed on Germany's main policy and added that it is part of Israel's duty to protect its people.

In addition to this, Merkel said that Germany calls for resuming peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine in order to reach solutions.
