Tribal violence in Kenya leave at least 7 people dead

Tribal violence in Kenya’s Tana Delta, has left at least seven people killed, police and local officials said on Wednesday.

The fighting took place in the village of Nduru, South East of the country.

The clashes, mainly between the Pkomo and Orma tribes have been ongoing for the past few months and are related to disputes over water and grazing rights.
Since December, 40 people have died in the tribal violence.

Mwai Kibaki, the country's president, has ordered a judicial commission to review options on how to stop the violence.
