Assad to SSNP: We have overcome this critical phase
Syrian President Bashar Assad confirmed on Wednesday that “Syria succeeded in overcoming this critical phase thanks to the strong will of the people”, adding that “Syria is leveraging past events to emerge stronger than before; adhering to its principles of Arabism and nationalism while holding its position as role model in the region.”

Assad met with an SSNP delegation in Lebanon headed by Assaad Hardan to discuss the attempts to divide Syria, retake control over it and manipulate its wealth.

The delegation voiced confidence that Syria will manage to fend off attempts to deal a blow to its Arabism and nationalism.

Assad and the delegation also touched on the importance of the role of nationalist parties in boosting patriotism and nationalism among Arab citizens.
