Ayatollah Khamenei rejects negotiations with US over nuke program

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei refused on Thursday via his official website, the US proposal to launch negotiations on the controversial issue of the Iranian nuclear program that caused imposition of international sanctions on the Islamic State.

Khamenei’s speech to air force commanders was posted on the website.

In his statements, he addressed the US administration and said: “You want to negotiate when you are pointing the gun at Iran. The Iranian nation will not be intimidated by such actions.”
