China calls on Taliban to adopt reforms before restoring diplomatic ties

The spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the ruling Taliban in Afghanistan must undertake political reforms, enhance security, and improve relations with neighboring countries before being eligible for full diplomatic recognition.
