White House announces new US aid to Ukraine valued at $300 million

The White House announced on Tuesday a new military aid package worth $300 million to meet Ukraine's "urgent" needs in its war against Russia.

Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to President Biden, stated that this aid "addresses some of Ukraine's urgent needs," but it does not substitute for approval from the US Congress for new funds requested by Joe Biden.
