Chinese Premier urges South Korea and Japan to reject 'protectionism' and disengagement from China

Chinese Premier Li Qiang urged South Korea and Japan on Monday to reject "protectionism" and economic disengagement, according to official media, as the three countries began a trilateral summit in Seoul.

The Xinhua News Agency reported that "Li called for not turning economic and trade issues into political or security matters, and for rejecting protectionism, disengagement, and cutting supply chains."
