Blinken arrives in crisis-hit South Korea

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived early Monday in South Korea in the midst of a political crisis after the U.S. ally's president briefly declared martial law, an AFP reporter traveling with him said.

The top U.S. diplomat was starting what will likely be his last trip before President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, with stops also scheduled in Japan and France.
