Europe's main stock markets rose sharply in opening deals on Tuesday after Israel said it had agreed to a "bilateral ceasefire" with Iran proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The Frankfurt DAX index rose 1.9 percent, the Paris CAC 40 of blue-chip stocks gained 1.7 percent, and London's FTSE 100 advanced by a more modest 0.5 percent in early trading.
