Israeli airstrikes against Syria, a threat to Iran and Hezbollah

The Israeli airstrikes against Syria did not only target shipments of weapons, but also weapons cache hidden underground, according to Israeli officials. Israel intended, through these attacks, to send a message to Iran confirming that it has obtained the "US smart bombs" which are capable of penetrating concrete and rocks and causing destruction similar to that of a 4 magnitude earthquake.

Following intensive meetings to evaluate the situation, the Israeli leaders concluded that there will be no response from the Syrian side.

This report will highlight the situation in Israel following the latest developments, and the measures taken by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in this regard.
