Thirty years in prison for 3 people convicted of attempting to assassinate Maduro
Three people convicted of attempting to assassinate Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in 2018 with explosive devices were sentenced to thirty years in prison, the maximum penalty in the country, according to what their families announced Friday.

A source in one of the families, who asked not to be named, told AFP that the retired soldiers, Juan Carlos Marrufo, Juan Francisco Rodriguez, and Maria Delgado Tabosky, were convicted of "terrorism, treason and forming a criminal gang."
