REPORT: Parliament passes law granting employment to Civil Defense volunteers
The Parliament passed on Wednesday a law granting the Civil Defense volunteers employment at the governmental institution, following a skills test.

In this context, MP Nawaf al-Mousawi congratulated the members of the Civil Defense units, stressing that the deputies assumed their national responsibility by passing this law.

For his part, Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said that passing the said law acts as an investment in a group of people working to safeguard the nation.

The Parliament convened earlier in a session dedicated to discuss 14 items included on its agenda.

The session has been adjourned until 10:30 AM Thursday.
