Israeli spy blimp flies over Wazzani Highlands

The state-run national News Agency reported on Wednesday that the Israeli Army lifted a spying blimp over the Wazzani Highlands which directly overlooks the Al-Wazzani watercourse and the parks on the river's west bank.

The agency added that the balloon was equipped with video cameras and eavesdropping devices.

This comes one day after Hezbollah detonated a bomb on Lebanon's border with Israel, wounding two Israeli soldiers and drawing artillery fire in response.

The incident in the Shebaa hills area marked the first time that Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for an attack against the Israeli army since 2006, when the two sides fought a 33-day war
