Sleiman called Assad to condemn the attacks in Syria
President Michel Sleiman contacted the Syrian President Bashar Assad and lambasted the attacks in Damascus that occurred on Friday morning.

Two suicide attacks jolted Damascus this morning, as two booby-trapped cars exploded near two state security buildings, killing at least 25 persons.

According to Syrian state-run television, primary investigations revealed that Al-Qaeda was behind the attacks.

Sleiman saw that the crackdown indeed aims to sap the few-day-old Arab League plan, as it coincides with the arrival of monitors' team in Syria.
