Siniora: row over wage issue a first
Future Parliamentary Bloc leader MP Fouad Siniora welcomed on Saturday the visit of U.N. Chief Ban Ki Moon to Lebanon, describing the visit as “a significant event for Lebanon.”     

Siniora wondered “How could Lebanon benefit from taking a hostile attitude towards the [U.N.] secretary general?”     

Commenting on the wage issue, Siniora said “what is happening regarding the wage issue is a first; it is an unprecedented event in the history of Lebanese governments”, urging the cabinet to adopt the agreement reached between employers and workers.
