Rasmussen: NATO does not intend to return to Libya
NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen announced that NATO does not intend to return to Libya, from where it withdrew its troops at the end of October, despite turmoil on the ground.          

He added that NATO intervened according to a U.N. mandate that is no longer valid.           

Rasmussen said that NATO ended its military operations “as it has already achieved its goal”.
