Aoun: Is this a State or a gang?

The head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun voiced distrust in the current Lebanese judicial system, wondering: “Is this a state or a gang?”

During a speech delivered before FPM officials, Aoun stressed that the Free Patriotic movement is concerned by financial issues before administrative appointments.

“What gives the head of a law committee the right to obstruct the work of a committee? I want an answer from Berri and Mikati but not from the third [president] because I know I will not get it”, Aoun said.

Aoun added that “they are holding us accountable for their mistakes and they want to involve us in the gains so we would become like them”.

The head of the FPM underscored that they are hampering the electricity plan, adding “we will not remain silent towards this underperformance”.
