Charbel to LBCI: Assassination plot has been exaggerated

Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel revealed that what has been broadcasted in the news about a plot to assassinate a Security official has been exaggerated.

Charbel told Nharkom Said on LBCI that the Internal Security Forces are in charge of protecting all Lebanese citizens in the country with no exceptions including well-known figures such as ISF intelligence Chief Col. Wissam Hassan and Internal Security Forces Director General Ashraf Rifi.

“Lebanon is going through a stable security momentum an no political event can disrupt this”, Charbel told LBCI
