Qassem: Wagering on developments in Syria is an illusion

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Wednesday that wagering on the Syrian developments is an illusion since they will not change the situation in Lebanon.

Qassem called on the March 14 coalition to stop betting on regional developments to change the balance of power in Lebanon.

During a ceremony held in honor of the resistance’s leaders, Qassem stressed that the model that the resistance provided in the 2000 and 2006 victories can be reproduced as can Israel’s defeat.
