Ghanem: Inclusion of “transportation allowance” in legislative agenda a violation of constitution
MP Robert Ghanem voiced surprise on Friday over the inclusion of the transportation allowance issue in the agenda of the legislative session to be held on Wednesday, describing the move as “a dangerous unprecedented violation of the constitution.”

Ghanem said the issue of signing the transportation allowance has become too dangerous so that it can no longer be settled at parliament by submitting a draft law which he expects will be rejected for it contravenes the constitution.

“The constitution stipulates that ministerial solidarity is compulsory; either the minister signs and joins the majority or resigns,” he said.
